【摘要】:Impuritiessuchasphenols,ifpresentintricresylphosphate,willreactwithpotassiumpermanganate,reducingittomanganesedioxide.Inthepermanganatetest,thecolorofthetestsolutionisobservedattheendofa30-minperiod,andifthepinkcolorisstillpresent,thesampleisconsideredsubstantiallyfreeofoxidizableimpurities.Theresultsofthismeasurementcanbeusedforspecificationacceptance.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedetectionintricresylphosphateofthepresenceofimpuritiesthatreducepotassiumpermanganate.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection6.1.3Forhazardinformationandguidance,seethesupplier''sMaterialSafetyDataSheet.
