【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandmethodsoftestforchildren'sbedguardsfordomesticuse.Itappliestobedguardsintendedforusewithbedshavingamaximumheightof600mmandaminimuminternallengthof1400mm.Thesebedguards,whenusedinconjunctionwithabed/mattresscombination,areintendedtopreventchildrenagedbetween18monthsand5yearsfromfallingoutofbed.Thisstandardisnotapplicabletobedguardsdesignedforadultuse,nortobedguardswhichareanintegralpartofabed,i.e.apermanentfixturenotintendedtobedetached.
