【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftotalsedimentupto0.40%m/mfordistillatefueloilscontainingresidualcomponentsandto0.50%m/minresidualfueloilshavingamaximumviscosityof55cSt(mm/s)at100?C.Somefuelscanexceedthemaximumfiltrationtimespecifiedinthistestmethodduetofactorsotherthanthepresenceofsignificantquantitiesofinsolubleorganicorinorganicmaterial.Thistestmethodcanbeusedfortheassessmentoftotalsedimentafterregimesoffuelpretreatmentdesignedtoacceleratetheagingprocess.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
