【摘要】:Electroniccircuitsusedinmanyspace,military,andnuclearpowersystemsmaybeexposedtovariouslevelsandtimeprofilesofneutronradiation.Itisessentialforthedesignandfabricationofsuchcircuitsthattestmethodsbeavailablethatcandeterminethevulnerabilityorhardness(measureofnonvulnerability)ofcomponentstobeusedinthem.Adeterminationofhardnessisoftennecessaryfortheshortterm(x2248;100x03BC;s)aswellaslongterm(permanentdamage)followingexposure.1.1Thisguidedefinestherequirementsandproceduresfortestingsilicondiscretesemiconductordevicesandintegratedcircuitsforrapid-annealingeffectsfromdisplacementdamageresultingfromneutronradiation.Thistestwillproducedegradationoftheelectricalpropertiesoftheirradiateddevicesandshouldbeconsideredadestructivetest.Rapidannealingofdisplacementdamageisusuallyassociatedwithbipolartechnologies.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
